My client are a manufacturer of LED products and offer a vast and diverse range for the Electrical and Lighting industry. Their products includes LED Retrofit Lamps, LED Floodlights and LED Emergency Lighting to name a few.
They are currently recruiting for a Midlands based Business Development Executive to cover the whole of the UK, selling into the Electrical Wholesale marketplace
They are looking for someone who makes connections, builds relationships, and pursues opportunities. You will lead their efforts to generate revenue with new clients by executing a disciplined new business development protocol. You will research industry segments and company profiles, follow up on trade journal leads and opportunities, and coordinate with brand marketing for the pursuit of other targets.
The successful candidate will have experience selling into the Electrical Wholesale marketplace and will be focused, have strong communication skills, and the ability to think strategically.
Identify new business opportunities within Electrical Wholesalers
Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand
Maintain and develop existing business relationships
Think critically when planning to assure project success
2 - 3 years’ prior industry-related business development experience selling into Electrical Wholesalers
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven knowledge and execution of successful business development strategies
Focused and goal-oriented
